How to make Buttercream Frosting

  • Take a bowl of medium size and put in your powdered sugar and butter
  • Mix them thoroughly using a spoon. If you use an electric mixer, keep the speed low
  • Add in vanilla and a spoonful of milk and stir the mixture
  • If need be, add in the remaining milk, little by little, just to ensure your frosting is smooth and easy to spread.

What happens if the frosting becomes too thin to spread? Easy – Simply add some more powdered sugar, mix thoroughly, and you are done. The buttercream frosting you have just made is enough to cover a 30cm by 20cm cake.
