How to Make Paneer Butter Masala

  1. Grind the chopped onions, garlic,and ginger into a coarse paste.
    1. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1/2 tbsp butter in a heavy bottom pan.
    1. Add cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf and cardamom.
    2. Cook for 4 seconds.
  3. Add the paste.
    1. Cook till it turns a golden brown.
  4. Add all the dry powders, sugar, and tomato puree.
    1. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add 2 cups of water and reduce heat to low let the gravy simmer for 8 minutes.
    1. Mix in cream, the remaining butter, Kasuri methi,& paneer.
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Cook till paneer is soft.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Paneer Butter Masala taste great when they are served hot. Pack them in insulated lunch box for office so you can eat it warm after a few hours.
