    12. Sprinkle some freshly ground black pepper and red pepper flakes on top of the mayonnaise spread.
    13. Lid your sandwiches with those slices.

    15. Let it heat up for at least 5 minutes.
    16. Place a sandwich in the middle of the pan.
    17. Let it cook on low heat for at least a minute.
    18. Then use your spoon to flatten the sandwich from the top.
    19. As the cheese begins to melt, after 2 to 3 minutes, flip the sandwich to do the same with the other side.
    20. Once, the bread turns slightly brown, remove the sandwich from the pan.
    21. Repeat the same process with the rest of the sandwiches.
    22. Pull them out in a serving dish and enjoy!

    • Pinconning cheese is named after Pinconning, Michigan because it was first developed here
    • Pinconning cheese came into being because Michigan had too many cows and too much milk and had no idea what to do with it
    • The grilled cheese sandwich was not always a perfect sandwich. It had once contained only one slice of bread and a layer of cheese on top. That’s it!
