150 gm Sugar
1 litre water
1 tsp citric acid

How to Make Homemade Maaza

  1. Carefully peel the skin from the mangoes. Chop mango pulp into pieces and discard the seeds.
  2. Add 1 cup of water into a pressure cooker along with the pulp, cover with the cooker lid and close the steam hole with a weight.
  3. place the pressure cooker over a high flame and let the cooker blow 4 to 5 whistles.
  4. Turn off the flame and let the cooker cool.
  5. combine sugar and water and let boil till the mixture turns to syrup.

Blend sugar and boiled mango pulp to smooth.

Add more water to achieve a juicy consistency and add citric acid. You Maazais ready!

For best taste, serve Maaza chilled!
