Ingredients

How to make Gol Papdi

  • Melt ghee in the pan, add wheat flour, and saute on low flame. Continue till it turns golden brown in color. Stir continuously.
  • Remove the flour from the flame and add cardamom powder, coconut, and jaggery. Take a greased thali of diameter 6 inches and sprinkle poppy seeds on it. When the jaggery melts and the mixture is a bit warm, pour on the greased thali and spread evenly with the help of a small spoon.
  • Cut into diamond shapes and garnish with almonds and pistachios. Store in an airtight container.

Grate the jaggery thinly so that no lumps are formed.
