    How to Make Chili con carne

    • Spread oil in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat until it is just about to smoke
    • Add green pepper and onion until it is softened
    • Add the beef and cook until it has become browned
    • Add bits of bouillon cubes
    • Pour wine, tomatoes, garlic and tomato paste
    • Season it with paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, basil oregano and parsley
    • Now add in some salt and pepper
    • Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
    • Reduce the heat to medium low. Cover the pan and let the mixture simmer for about 90 minutes.
    • Add kidney beans and hot pepper sauce.
    • In a separate bowl, add together the flour, corn meal and water until a thick mixture is created.
    • Add in chili and cook for a further 10 minutes.
