Bhang lassi packs quite a bang just as the name suggests! The process of making bhang lassi involves quite an amount of cannabis. The twist in making this potent drink is that it involves a mixture of cannabis and genuine lassi. This blend of bhang lassi is guaranteed to get you higher than a kite and definitely happier than a lark! Marijuana is known as bhang in India, and it has been in circulation for thousands of years.

Indians have found some very creative uses for this plant, and the bhang lassi drink is just one of the more delicious uses of the plant. Bhang lassi is prepared in much the same way as milkshakes. It is served at some cultural celebrations in India. This includes the festival of colors called Holi, and the festival held in honor of the Hindu god, Shiva, also known as Maha Shivaratri. How to Make It

  1. Boil water in a small kettle. Sprinkle cannabis on it.
  2. Brew the mixture for up to 10 minutes. Strain water into a saucepan.
  3. Grind the cannabis with a pestle or mortar. Add about 2 tbsp. of the milk to it and grind together until it has become a paste.
  4. Strain out some of the milk into the saucepan with the water. Keep the mixture aside.
  5. Add almonds to the cannabis and grind everything together. Sprinkle some more milk on the mixture. Do this repeatedly for a few minutes, straining the milk into the pan.
  6. Strain this mixture even more with a sieve. This way, you will get rid of the excess plant material.
  7. Add the grenadine, coconut milk, and any remaining milk to the pan. Add sugar, ginger, and some garam masala. Let these boil, stirring continuously. Cool slightly.
  8. Place mixture in a fridge to cool off for a couple of hours.
  9. Serve your bhang lassi as preferred.
