The Bloody Mary cocktail is a nutritional breakfast or afternoon drink that is soaked with vodka. It was invented around the 1920s and there many theories about the origin of this great drink. This tomato-based cocktail has a lot of variations. A classic Bloody Mary usually contain a mixture of vodka and tomato juice with a combination of other flavorings or spices which usually includes lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, celery salt, amongst others.
What’s more, it can be garnished with many things ranging from a tiny cheeseburger to bacon or a shrimp skewer.
This version of Bloody Mary is a Surf and Turf Bloody Mary; it contains a garnish of Surf and Turf skewers.

Although the drink contains vodka, other ingredients, such as tomatoes, horseradish, celery, and Tabasco hot sauce are rich in antioxidants. Tomato juice gives your body lycopene, an important anti-oxidant which helps prevent the
formation of cancerous cells as well as some other types of health diseases and complications. Tabasco hot sauce is rich in capsaicin, which helps raise the temperature of your body and thereby help to burn more calories after eating. The chillies are also a good source of vitamin c. Also, the celery stick does more than just garnishing; it is filled with phytochemicals, which helps in reducing the risk of diabetes, cardiac disease and various types of cancer.
