Healthy food doesn’t always mean boring or bland. The orange, walnut, gorgonzola and mixed greens salad with fresh citrus vinaigrette is a mouthful to say and to eat, too. The salad is a bowl loaded with the goodness of greens, oranges with the acidity kicking in from the fresh citrus vinaigrette.

This is one salad that can be whipped up in a few minutes if you have the ingredients handy. If you like textures in your food, you will enjoy the nuts, cheese and the chunks of vegetable and fruits in the salad.

Health Benefits

Known to have the highest anti-oxidant activity among nuts, walnuts are a great source of anti-oxidants. Walnuts also help manage type 2 diabetes.
