7 oz. mixed salad greens
1 1/4 large navel oranges, peeled and sectioned
1/3 cup Red onion,sliced
1/4 cup and 3 tbsp of orange Juice
2 tbsp and 2tsp of vegetable oil
2 tbsp and 2 tsp of olive oil
2 tbsp and 2 tsp White sugar
2 tbsp and 2 tsp Gorgonzola cheese (crumbled)
1/4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/2 cup walnut halves
1/8 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp and 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1/8 tsp ground black pepper

How to make Orange, Walnut, Gorgonzola and Mixed Greens Salad with Fresh Citrus Vinaigrette

  • To a skillet, add the walnuts and toast them in low heat until they are light brown.
  • In a Large bowl, toss the oranges, red onion slices, toasted walnuts and salad greens.
  • To a large jar with a lid, add the olive and vegetable oil along with the vinegar, mustard, oregano, pepper, orange juice and sugar.
  • Tighten the lid and shake well to mix the spices and oil.
