100 gm yogurt
30 gm green cardamom seeds
100 gm flour
50 gm gram flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
salt to taste

How To Make Nankhatai

  1. Mix ghee with sugar in a food processer until smooth and creamy. Add yogurt and process for few seconds.
  2. Let stand for 10 minutes and then add some crushed green cardamom seeds and mix them well.
  3. Add flours, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch salt. Mix until dough comes together.
  4. Let stand for 1/2 hour or refrigerate for few minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  6. Brush some oil on a baking pan. Form dough into25 to 30 balls and place them on the baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
