Winters are characterised with cold and nobody likes cold. But hey, there’s something that can make you feel better. A mug of mulled wine gives you that warmth you need. Mulled wine is a traditional holiday treat in many Old World countries. It has other names too; Glögg in Nordic nations and Glühwen in Germany.
Mulled wine is made with red wine. The wine is sweetened, headed and spice and that’s pretty much it. It is suitable at holiday gatherings or any winter night. And if it’s a school day and you have kids, it can probably be included in their lunch since they can’t bring it to school in their lunch box.Do not forget to store some mulled wine cocktail in a water bottle from Vaya to sip through the day.
How to make Mulled Wine
Mulled wine was originally used to revive postmen and messengers who travelled on horseback in cold weather in Scandivania.
