How to Make Meen Mulligatanni

Mulligatanni Masala

  • Soak dry red chilies in warm water for half an hour
  • Grind the chilies with coriander powder to create a fine paste.
  • Once the fine paste has been created, add some vinegar to it.

For the preparation

  • Take out a pan and heat coconut oil inside of it.
  • Once the coconut oil has been heated, add some thin strips of ginger, chopped onions, green chilies, chopped garlic and curry leaves.
  • Once the paste above has been created, add the mulligatanni masala to it, along with water and salt.
  • Add fish inside the pan and cover it and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the coconut milk into the pan before removing it from the stove and serving it hot with steamed rice.
