How to Make Liederkranz Cheese

  1. Take a deep sauce pan and put it on the stove on low flame.
  2. Add 3 slabs of butter into it and let it melt completely.
  3. Once, the butter is melted add flour into the pan.
  4. Stir the four until a creamy mixture forms in the pan.
  5. Once, the creamy mixture is prepared add milk into the pan. Keep stirring the mixture while you add milk into it.
  6. Stir mix the milk into the sauce and add garlic powder, onion powder and paprika into the pan.
  7. Add a pinch of nutmeg, salt and freshly ground black pepper into the pan.
  8. Mix everything well.
  9. Let it cook on low heat until the sauce turns thick enough to coat the back of your spoon.
  10. Once, you get the perfect texture, add the shredded Liederkranz cheese into the pan and mix it up into the sauce until it completely melts.
  11. Grate some parmesan cheese into the sauce as well, give it one good mix then take it off the heat and set it aside until it is needed for assembling.
  12. Place a non-stick frying pan on the stove.
  13. Add a slab of butter into it.
  14. Add minced beef into the pan and fry it until it turns tender.
  15. Add salt and freshly ground pepper into the beef for extra flavor.
  16. Once, the beef is fried, add it into the sauce prepared along with the pasta.
  17. Mix everything well.
  18. Sprinkle the top of the pasta with breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese.
  19. Put the Mac & Cheese into the over pre-heated at 400 degrees Fahrenheit and let it bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  20. Enjoy hot!
