Ingredients

How to Make Kukicha Green Tea

  1. Add Kukicha into a pot or in a kyusu (Japanese Teapot)
  2. Pour water over it and bring the water to a boil
  3. Let the water boil for 1 minute and then remove the pot from the heat
  4. Now pour the brewed tea into cups to warm them up and serve it
  5. Add lemon juice or mint leaves as per your liking

Trivia

  • Material for Kukicha tree is obtained from the produce of Sencha or Matcha
  • Kukicha is available readily as a green tea but is also available in more oxidized processing.

One of the highlights of this tea is that it is naturally very low in caffeine
