  1. Mix together the flour, salt, pepper, and oregano in a bowl.
  2. Coat chicken pieces in flour mixture.
  3. Melt butter in oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  4. Place chicken in the pan and cook until it turns a light brown.
  5. Turn over chicken pieces and add mushrooms.
  6. Pour in the wine and sherry.
  7. Cover skillet and let the chicken simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Turn once and cook until it is no longer pink and juices run clear.
