Ingredients

How to Make Chicken parmigiana

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix the chicken with salt and pepper
  • Dredge the chicken breasts with flour
  • Dip in egg
  • Spread oil on 2 large pans and heat over high heat until smoking
  • Add chicken breasts to each pan and cook until golden brown
  • Transfer to baking sheet and top with tomato sauce
  • Add slices of mozzarella, 1tbsp of parmesan and salt
  • Bake the chicken in the oven
  • For the tomato, heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add onion, garlic and cook until it appears soft
  • Add tomato puree, crushed tomatoes, bay leaf, Chile pepper and stir them
  • Bring the mixture to a boil
  • Season the sauce to taste
  • Cook until the sauce is thickened

Trivia

  • Many people assume that chicken are flightless species, but that doesn’t mean they can’t jump over a fence or onto small to medium objects such as trees.

Chickens will eat just about anything, including seeds, insects and even mice, making them a slightly deadly omnivore!
