    How to make 100% Fruit "Cake"

    • Create the base tier of the cake.
      • Cut three 1-2-inch thick slices of watermelon crossways through the melon’s center.
      • Trim the rind from the watermelon slices.
      • Place the largest slice onto a cake plate.
      • Alternate layering slices of fresh pineapple, sliced strawberries, and slices of cantaloupe.
      • Layer on the second-largest watermelon slice.
      • Repeat more to make a layered fruit stack in the shape of a cake.
    • Thinly slice a few pieces of remaining pineapple and melon.
    • Cut the remaining fruit slices into decorative shapes using a sharp knife or cookie cutters.
