Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
2 cups of idli batter
1/4 cup carrot- grated
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp refined oil
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
10 curry leaves

How to make Vegetable Idli

  1. Take some idli and grease it with a little oil to make the idlimoulds. 
  1. Mix the idlibatter and salt together. 
  1. Heat up the oil in a pan using a low to medium flame.  
  1. Add mustard seeds to the oil and allow it to knit together for some minutes. 
  1. Add the cumin seeds and curry leaves then transfer the contents to a bowl. 
  1. Empty the idlibatter into the premade molds. 
  1. Add the chopped carrots and steam together for about 15 minutes. 
  1. Serve and eat.
