There are times when you want to have a quick bite, but don’t have much time on your hand to make something delightful. Whenever you face such a craving, this prawn and litchi salad can serve as your go to option. It is extremely easy to make and contains some of the most delightful ingredients that you will ever see. The recipe is perfect for those days when you just don’t want to be bothered about making food, but don’t want to compromise on the experience as well.

    Health Benefits

Prawns are not only considered to be a good source of protein, but also provide unsaturated fat to your body. Unsaturated fats form the majority of the fat content present inside prawns. These fats are known for improving your blood cholesterol levels and ensuring the smooth flow of blood within your health. Moreover, prawns also contain Omega-3s, which can drastically reduce inflammation within your body, resulting in a decreased risk of cancer, heart-diseases and arthritis.

How to Make Prawn and Litchi Salad

    • Toss the chili flakes together with the lemon juice, spring onions and oil inside a bowl.
    • Use the mixture created above as a marinade for your prawns.
    • Place the prawns inside the marinade and marinate them for around 15 minutes within this mixture.
    • Prepare an inverted pan and toss the pans inside along with the mixture.
    • Heat the pan and stir fry the contents inside it for 3 minutes. The prawns should have been cooked by now.
    • Set the prawns aside while you prepare and mix the litchi and mango.
    • Add everything together, and then add some salt and peanuts for taste and an added crunch.
    • Serve immediately for best taste.

    Trivia

Prawns are commonly consumed across the world and are eaten by different names and are also marketed by different brands. Americans are known to eat shrimps more than any other sea food, one billion pounds of them annually to be specific, which is testimony of how much they love the food item.
