Trivia

Did you know that shipmen employ a technique known as ‘shrimp trawling’? What they essentially do is cast a massive net across the ocean, and this indiscriminately kills four points of aquatic life or every pound of shrimp fished out.

In 2018 the Indian seafood industry reportedly exported over $7 billion worth of produce, of those shrimp accounted for over 69% of the proceedings.
