1 tbsp salt
1 lb chicken breast halves – skinless, boneless, and cut into chunks

How to make Chicken Hariyali Tikka

  • Grind the cilantro, mint leaves, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, green chilli paste, and salt together in a large bowl.
  • Place the chicken pieces in the bowl and rub them down with the seasoning.
  • Cover, and refrigerate for 2-3 hrs.
  • Preheat the oven broiler.
  • Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Place the chicken in the baking dish, and broil for 20 mins, or until the chicken juices run clear.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Chicken tikka is the basis of chicken tikka masala, but the latter is a British creation.
