The cumulative health benefits of these ingredients is invaluable to the human body, making it an extremely wholesome dish, which contains carbohydrates, protein, iron, folate and calcium.

Iron is an essential component of hemoglobin in red blood cells. A deficiency of this nutrient can result in anemia. Each serving of chimichanga also supplies the body with a good measure of folate which can prevent birth defects.
