How to Make Apple Brown Betty

    1. The first thing to do in case of any baking period would be to preheat the oven till it reaches a maximum temperature of 350 degrees.
    2. After peeling de-seeding and slicing the apples ideally one is supposed to arrange the apple slices in the bottom of the 12x9 pan that you would use this would have to be greased very lightly and heated beforehand.
    3. Sprinkle the contents of the pan with cinnamon as it starts to brown and the pan heats up.
    4. Mix the flour and brown sugar to create a good mix between the two ingredients.
    5. Ideally this leaves you prepared to cut in the butter until the mix is crumbly after which it is set aside to cool off and breathe.
    6. The Syrup being one of the key ingredients in the mix is made out of combining the ingredients and stirring well until the suspension turns uniform.
    7. Drizzle half of all the mixtures over apples making sure they are covered and well doused in the syrup.
    8. After which ideally one should cover the apples and mix with flour mix to ensure they do not get seared and burnt during the baking session.
    9. Pour the remaining amount of syrup on top of the precooked dish and settle.
    10. Bake at 350 for one hour.
    11. And voila let cool and serve with gusto as your miraculous Brown Betty collects praises from all your dinner guests and friends.
    12. For an extra kick of flavor you can always layer with ice-cream and excess syrup or even a cold smashed apple paste.
