- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 green cardamoms
- 2 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 medium onion-chopped
- 1 chopped tomato
- salt to taste
- sugar, a pinch
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 juice of lemon
- aloo bhajja, to garnish
- chopped coriander to garnish
