1/2 cup tomatoes-chopped
1/4 cup coconut- grated
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp Chana dal
1/2 tsp urad dal
2 red chillis
4 curry leaves
2 madras onions- peeled
salt to taste

How to make Coconut Tomato Chutney

  1. Heat the urad dal, chana dal, red chillis, and curry leaves in a nonstick pan, for 15 seconds. 
  2. Add the tomatoes and onions. 
  3. Add coconut and salt after 3 minutes.
  4. Continue to cook for about 2 more minutes. 
  5. Remove the pan from the stove and let cool completely. 
  6. Use a mixer to thoroughly blend the combination until it is smooth. 
  7. Serve and enjoy. You can even store in an airtight container or food storage container
