How to make White Chicken
Note: white beans can be used as a substitute for Northern beans.
Beans are technically a fruit. Gregor Mendel, the famous geneticist, who gave us the laws of inheritance, tested his theories on bean and pea plants.
Beans have been grown as a crop for almost 6000 years. In ancient Greece, lower level officials were selected using beans. One white bean was mixed in a bean machine containing black beans. The one who picked the white bean out was appointed as an official.
