3 tomatoes- chopped
3 onions- chopped
2 chilies- green and chopped
coriander leaves
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp jaggery
salt to taste

Ingredients

How to make Sali Boti

  • Heat ghee and fry the chopped onions for 2 minutes.  Sauté in the spices listed in ingredients section and ginger-garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add mutton cubes and cook until the mutton is tender.  Add green chilies, tomatoes, water, and salt to taste. Cook for 20 minutes on low flame.
  • Stir in jaggery and vinegar and remove from heat after 3 minutes. Garnish it with the coriander leaves.
  • Serve it when hot for the best taste.
