Rossini was created to be a rather luscious substitute for the bellini. Where the bellini has white peaches, the Rossini cocktail makes use of strawberries and where the bellini uses champagne, the Rossini pops up with Prosecco,

And making it is quite simple, just get a very chill champagne glass and pour some tall strawberry puree in it. Garnish the glass aesthetically with some fresh strawberries and hey presto! Rossini at your service!

Health Benefits

  1. Rossini has some key ingredients that are useful in the treatment of gout and arthritis. Actually, it has one key ingredient and this ingredient is of course strawberries. Free radicals have some rather harmful effects on the body and these include the degeneration of body tissues and muscles, accumulation of harmful acids like uric acid, and toxic substances, and the gradual drying up or reduction in production of the fluid that aids the mobility of joints. These and many more concerns are main precursors for cases of gout and arthritis. The strawberries present in a glass of Rossini have an abundance of detoxifiers and antioxidants and these are very helpful when you want to treat these conditions.

It is a quite popular saying that the accumulated rust in the joints can be decreased simply by having a serving of fruits on a daily basis. This saying holds particularly true with strawberries though, since they have a very intense anti-inflammatory feature that serves to provide respite from inflammation.Do not forget to store some Rossini cocktail in a water bottle from Vaya to sip through the day.

How to make Rossini

  1. Put some lemon juice, strawberries, and sugar into a clean food processor. Blend till the resultant mixture is silky smooth. Strain the pulp away with a sieve. Pour the leftover liquid in a pitcher. Cover it and let it cool off.
  2. Pour the pureed strawberry into a pitcher along with the Prosecco. Blend this by stirring the mixture very gently. If you do this too fast, the resultant mix will be foamy.
  3. Pour it in a clean champagne and serve as preferred.

Trivia

  1. Strawberries are not classified as true berries by botanists. The reason given for this is that true berries like cranberries and blueberries have a lot of seeds inside while strawberries have their seeds outside. The seeds are yellow and dry.
