How to make Potato salad
- Boil salted water in a large pot and add the potatoes. Cook the potatoes for 12 minutes or until they become tender. Drain, cool, peel, chop, and set the potatoes aside.
- Boil eggs in a saucepan for 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and leave the eggs in hot water for 8 minutes. Cool, peel, chopped, and set the eggs aside.
- Mix potatoes, eggs, celery, garlic, relish, onion, mustard, pepper, salt, and mayonnaise in a bowl.
- Refrigerate the potato salad until it becomes chilled and serve at once.
Up till late 18th century, French people thought potatoes caused leprosy.
