You’ve probably been asking yourself, what exactly are nachos? They’re an amazingly popular Mexican snack and appetizer. They are served all over North America at stadiums, theaters, in home, etc. Nachos are triangular shaped tortilla chips made from corn or flour and combined with meat, cheese, and vegetables. You can eat them with lots of meat or vegetarian style; it’s your choice. Just make sure to have some homemade salsa and guacamole on hand for dipping. Health Benefits
At first glance, a plate of nachos doesn’t look like it has very many health benefits. After all, we know that not much good can come from imbibing too much cheesy goodness. Nachos, however, are made from tortilla chips which are composed of corn. And corn offers a variety of health benefits. It is a rich source of beta-carotene which makes up vitamin A and is key in maintaining good eye and skin health.
