Most biryani calls for some type of meat to unite all the ingredients. This mixed sprouts biryani is a bit different however. It is a vegetarian version that makes use of copious amounts of sprouts instead of meat. The recipe doesn’t specify which sprouts to use; this is your chance to really test yourself as a chef.  Experiment with different types of sprouts; pay close attention both to their taste and their texture. Keep trying different combinations till you find one that you truly enjoy.

    Health Benefits

This recipe calls for a large amount of chilli powder, which provides the diner with many health benefits. Chilies are the primary source for capsaicin, the substance responsible for spiciness. Capsaicin is a wondrous compound; it’s a disease fighting powerhouse. Eating it on a regular basis can help combat the spread of certain cancers like breast and prostate cancer. Capsaicin also helps treat diabetes by regulating insulin levels in the body.
