All you really need are the ingredients, some microwave safe dishes, and a microwave of course.  The ingredients are simple and easy to find, so you will have no problem making this.

Health Benefits

The primary ingredient that defines any sambhar are lentils, a group of edible seeds or pulses from the legume family. Some of lentils substantial health benefits include the ability to improve digestion, regulate diabetes, improve heart health, manage cancer, facilitate weight loss, and prevent anemia. They are also a great source of non-meat based protein. This makes it fantastic for vegetarians and vegans, people who risk becoming protein deficient. This can be extremely dangerous if you live any type of active life style.
