- 2 cups leftover rice or steamed rice
- ½ tsp black mustard seeds
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 1 green chili--chopped
- 1 medium-sized onion--finely chopped
- 1 medium-sized tomato--finely chopped
- A pinch of asafetida (optional)
- ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp garam masala powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp fennel powder
- 1 or 1.5 tablespoon oil
- Salt as required
- 2 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
