1/4 cup green onions — chopped
1 tbsp cilantro — chopped

How to make Crab Fried Rice

  • Rinse rice in a sieve and run under cold water tap for a few minutes.
  • Boil water in a pan. Add the rinsed rice. Cover with a lid and cook for 20 minutes on a low flame.
  • Transfer the rice to a sieve and set aside for cooling. Heat oil in a non-stick pan on a low flame. Introduce the onions and the garlic into the oil. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes on a high flame.
  • Add the lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, white pepper, sugar, and salt to the rice. Mix well.
  • Stir in the beaten egg in the rice till the rice is coated with it.
  • Mix in the crabmeat and green onions. Cook for 5 minutes on a medium flame.
  • Remove from the flame and garnish with fresh chopped cilantro to serve.
