How to Make Butterscotch Haystack
- In a large saucepan, add the corn syrup, honey, peanut butter, and mix properly until well combined. Bring this mixture to a boil, take it off the heat, and add in the vanilla. Give it another mix before you put in the cornflakes and toasted coconut. You will now need to mix this until the peanut butter mixture has properly coated the cornflakes.
- After they have been properly coated, prepare your baking sheet. Place a piece of foil or parchment paper onto the baking sheet, and begin dropping the cornflake mixture (by a tablespoon) onto the baking sheet. Once you have done this with the entire mixture, transfer it to the refrigerator so they can cool. The cooling process usually takes 20 minutes.
