- 3 medium-sized onions—finely chopped

- 2 green chilies—slit
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup mint leaves
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 cup whisked curd/yogurt
- 3 cloves
- salt to taste
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 Star Anise
- 2 pods green cardamom
- 1 tsp lemon juice
