How to make Sabut Masoor ki Dal

  1. Cook masoor dal with water water, salt, and ginger until the dal turns soft.
  2. In a frying pan, heat oil and sautecumin seeds and bay leaves.
  3. Add tomatoes and stir-fry till the oil separates.
  4. Add green chilies, garam masala, coriander powder, and chilli powder; stir to combine.
  5. Add cooked masoor dal and bring to a boil.
  6. Leave to simmer for about 10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
