Ingredients
- (250 ml = 1 cup)
- 1 cup black-eyed peas (cowpeas, lobia)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 finely chopped onions
- 1 green chillies, minced
- 3 medium garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2-inch piece ginger, minced
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 3 cups water
- salt as needed
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro leaves
How to make Lobia
10. Add the minced cilantro and stir.
