    Uttapam is another popular South Indian dish. Traditional uttapam is made with rice and lentil batter and can be difficult and time consuming to make. Bread Uttapam, on the other hand, is instant and simple to make. Uttapam is a type of dosa, thicker than some others, cooked with vegetables in a skillet. It tastes divine served hot and with a side of your favorite chutney.

    Bread, as you can see, is one of the ingredients of the recipe. Its bran fiber content helps to regulate bowel movement functionality. Not only does it help regulate the bowels, but it helps to relieve constipation.

    Yogurt is another ingredient with natural health benefits. It’s rich in vitamins which help strengthen the immune system, helping it to combat disease causing pathogens system.

    How To Make Bread Uttapam

    1. Trim the edges of the bread and soak in water for 2 minutes. 
    1. Squeeze the bread lightly so that excess water can give way. 
    1. Grind the bread pieces, rice flour, semolina, and corn flour together. 
    1. Add the yogurt and grind again. 
    1. Put in the ½ cup of water.

    Note: This will give consistency to the dosa batter.

    1. Add salt, onion, cumin seeds, ginger, green chilli, hing, and coriander leaves.
      1. Mix together well and let stay for about 10 minutes. 
    1. Oil and heat a griddle. 
    1. Pour batter on the griddle and spread it lightly. 
    1. Pour 1 tsp of oil over the edges of the batter. Some should go to the center too. 
    1. Cover it and let it cook for 1 minute. This should be done until the bottom of the batter turns to a golden color. 
    1. Twist the dosa to other side to cook.

    Note: At this stage, it becomes uttapam.

    1. Serve immediately.
