Curd in Your Beauty Routine

Curd is packed with vitamins and minerals that you absolutely want to infuse into your skin. Some of the most important are the lactic acid, protein, calcium, and vitamin D. The lactic acid contained in curd helps to shed dead skin cells and resists the development of wrinkles and other signs of aging. It also helps to moisturize your skin for that supple and soft feeling. Using curd also helps to increase the glow of your skin, reduce redness from forming, and prevent acne breakouts. Below are five great ways to utilize curd in your beauty routine.

Curd Moisturizer

Mix curd with honey and turn it into a moisturizing type gel. Massage it into the skin on your face, and let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water. You will find that your face is hydrated and beaming with a wonderful glow.

Sunburn Relief

When the sun touches our skin, the UV rays leave our skin cells looking diminished and tanned. This can lead to sunburn which will result in blisters and rashes. If you directly apply curd to the sunburn you can use it get some relief from the irritability, dryness, and itchiness. It will also moisturize the affected area and generate a soothing effect.

Prevents Acne

Curd is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, which turns out are the two things you need to combat acne. If you’re prone to developing acne, simply include curd in your daily face care routine.

Lightens Dark Circles

Curd can help diminish the bags under your eyes, and make those dark circles disappear. Simply, dab some beneath your eyes and rinse it off with cold water. Do this daily until those circles fade away.

Improves Hair Quality

Curd actually makes for a great conditioner if you combine it with egg whites. Mix 1 egg white with 2 tbsp of curd until they create a thick mixture. Use it after you shampoo your hair and be amazed as it revitalizes your hair.
