Ingredients
Rice :
- 2 cups Basmati rice – soaked in enough water for 10 minutes
- 2 tbsp mint leaves
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1 Star Anise
- 2 mace
- 1 tbsp fennel seeds
- 4 cloves
- 1/2 tsp black cumin seeds
- 2 green cardamom
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
Dough :
- 2 cup wheat flour
- Enough water to knead
Garnishing :
- 3/4 cup thinly sliced onion
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 1 tbsp green raisins
- 1/4 cup warm milk
- 4 saffron strands
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1/2 cup chopped mint leaves
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
Vegetable Masala :
- 300 g mixed vegetables – cauliflower, green peas, beans, carrot, and baby corn
- 3 green chilies
- 2 medium sized onions – chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 cup mint leaves
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 4 tbsp yogurt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- salt to taste
- 4 cloves
- 1 Star Anise
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 2 mace
- 2 green cardamom
- 1 tbsp fennel seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp black cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp oil
