What this means is that the hormone insulin is not able to get the required glucose into the cells of the body. As the cells are not able to absorb blood sugar properly, they are not able to distribute it throughout the body.

A fasting glucose test needs to be done and if the levels are higher than usual, it is a sign that the person has an issue with insulin-resistance. If you’ve been sleeping too less, this is likely the cause of your tiredness and fatigue. You need to take a good night’s sleep and avoid taking tea or coffee before going to bed. Eating a balanced diet that includes lots of fresh fruits and vegetables is also recommended.
