Childhood obesity is on the rise in the 21st century due to a variety of factors. Excluding rare issues like hormone imbalances, it is pretty simple to cure obesity in children. All your child has to do is eat a nutritious diet and exercise. It sounds simple enough, but it can be difficult to get your child to actually commit to exercising and eating healthy.
Instead of trying to put your young child on a regulated exercise program, sign them up for activities that require them to move around. Children’s athletic leagues are great for getting your child out of the house and keeping them physically active.
As far as eating a balanced diet goes, make sure to research what portion sizes your growing child needs. And make sure your child is getting enough vegetables and fruits, while not overdoing it on the carbs.
