tbsp besan: 3
tsp chickpea flour: 1 1/2
inch ginger: 1/2
small mango: 1
salt to taste
tsp turmeric powder: 1/2
dry red chilies: 3-4
tsp cumin seeds: 1/2
tsp asafetida: 1/4
cups water: 4
tbsp oil for tempering: 2
tbsp oil: 1
tsp mustard seeds: 1/2
dry red chilies: 2
a sprig of curry leaves – tender
How To Make Aam Ki Kadhi
- Mash the mango into a puree and set aside.
- Mix curd with chickpea flour to form a batter and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Splutter cumin seeds and add asafetida and dry red chilies. Stir for a minute.
Note: About 40-45 mins.
- Heat oil in a small kadai. Add dry red chilies, curry leaves, and mustard seeds
- Pour the tempering over kadhi.
- Serve and enjoy!
