But for a pizza to turn out delicious, it all depends on how the dough was made.Soft and flaky dough will make a strong base for the other cheesy goodness to go on top. Just make a batch and store it in your storage container, so you can have it when you feel like.

Ingredients

cup whole wheat flour: 1/2

cups all-purpose flour: 6

active dry yeast: 1/2 tsp

salt: 1 tbsp

Sugar: 1/2 tsp

cup extra virgin olive oil: 1/2

cups warm water (100 Fahrenheit): 3

Extra all purpose flour for dusting

How To Make Pizza Dough

  1. Sift and mix whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, sugar, salt and yeast and remove any hard particles.
  2. Add olive oil to the flour mixture and mix.
  3. Start to knead the flour mixture by adding in water drop by drop.
  4. Knead dough until it forms a sticky ball and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
  5. Brush olive oil on the dough and cover the bowl with a cheese cloth or plastic.
  6. Put the bowl in warm place and let it rise for 18 hours.
  7. After 18 hours it should have doubled in size.

When you want to use the dough, take it out on a clean floured surface and knead it 3-4 times and cut it to make 4 balls. Stretch and smooth out the balls and put them on a tray. Cover and let rise for 15 more minutes.

If you want to save the dough for later use, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and freeze it. Take it out and thaw it overnight when you want to use it next.
