Butter: 1/2 cup

Eggs: 3

Brown sugar: 3 cup

grated Apple: 2 cups

Vanilla extract: 1 tbsp

vegetable oil: 1/2 cup

cup of milk: 1/2

all-purpose flour: 2 cup

baking soda: 1 tsp

baking powder: 1 tsp

tsp of salt: 1/2

cinnamon: 1 tsp

Nutmeg: 1/4 tsp

blackberries: 1 cup

hand mixer: 1

loaf pan: 1

How To Make Norman Blackberry Loaf Cake

For the Batter

  1. Take a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add butter and sugar into the bowl and mix these up well with the hand mixer.
  3. Once, properly mixed, add 3 eggs into the bowl and whisk the batter.
  4. Then add grated apple into the mix and using a spoon mix it into the batter.
  5. Add vanilla extract, oil and milk into the batter as well and use the hand mixer to mix up all the ingredients until the batter is smooth.
  6. Take a separate mixing bowl.
  7. Add all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon into it.
  8. Mix all the dry ingredients well then add these into the batter.
  9. Whisk the batter with the ingredients until all of these are well blended.

For the Norman Blackberry Loaf Cake

  1. Take a loaf pan.
  2. Grease the loaf pan with vegetable oil.
  3. Lay out a layer of the batter on the bottom.
  4. Cut the black berries in half or quarter as per your choice.
  5. Spread out the blackberry pieces over the layer of batter.
  6. Add another layer of batter on top and then another layer of blackberry pieces on top of that.
  7. Keep adding layers like that until the pan is full to the brim.
  8. Bake the loaf cake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes.
  9. Once it is done, pull it out of the oven and let it cool down.
  10. Remove it from the loaf pan when it is cooled and serve in slices! Enjoy!
