Ingredients

olive oil as needed

beef: 1 kg

baby bella mushrooms: 1/2 kg

salt to taste

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Butter: 2 slabs

red wine: 1/2 glass

bran oil: 1/2 glass

chopped onion: 1

chopped garlic cloves: 4-6

How To Make Beef Manhattan

  1. Take non-stick frying pan.
  2. Add 5 to 6 tablespoons of olive oil into it.
  3. Heat it up.
  4. Add mushrooms, onions and garlic into the pan and cook on low heat.
  5. Season the mushroom with salt and freshly ground black pepper as they cook.
  6. Add butter into the mushrooms and let it melt well with them.
  7. On another stove place another frying pan.
  8. Add 4 to 5 tablespoons of olive oil into it.
  9. Slice the beef into equal slices.
  10. Add it into the other frying pan and graze it so it gets a firm and fried texture.
  11. Once, the beef is done frying, put into the frying pan with mushrooms.
  12. Cook the beef on medium heat in the mushrooms and the butter for at least half an hour or until you can feel it getting tender.
  13. After half an hour or 45 minutes, add half a glass of red wine into the pan.
  14. Cook the beef in the red wine for another 15 minutes on medium heat.
  15. Add bran oil into the frying pan and let the beef cook for another 15 minutes into the whole mixture.
  16. Let the mixture simmer and vapor away considerably.
  17. Remove the beef from the heat when it is completely tender and the only little stew is left.
  18. Serve with your favorite rice and type of bread.
