Macchli Amritsari

Macchli Amritsari

Machhli amritsari is a wonderful and delicious Punjabi fried fish recipe. Fried fish is one of the oldest dishes in the world due to the wide availability of fish. Punjabi cuisine typically concentrates on chicken and tandoori dishes. If you haven’t tried those, you should get on them right away. But if you’re ready to delve deep into one of the hidden gems of Punjab, then start cooking on this dish right away. This recipe stores well. You can store it in a casserole and eat later, and it will still taste as delicious as freshly prepared.

Health Benefits

Fish is generally just good for you. It is high in many nutrients that most people are failing to get enough of in their diet, including high-grade protein, iodine, and vitamins D. It also has a wealth of omega-3 fatty acids which is good for developing eye and brain health. In fact, many doctors and health professionals recommend that pregnant women regularly include fish in their diet. Fish can also increase grey matter in the brain and reduce neural deterioration.
