Ingredients

pieces of lemon: 12

chillis: 8

tbsp of sugar: 14

inches of ginger: 2

cup of vinegar: 1

tsp of chilli powder: 2

cloves garlic: 3

tbsp of salt: 1

How To Make Lemon Chutney

  1. Wash the lemon and wipe it down completely.
  2. Cut the lemon and get rid of seeds.
  3. Peel and slice the ginger and garlic as well as the chillis and place them in a bowl.
  4. Add lemon pieces, chili powder, sugar, and salt to the bowl with the ginger, garlic and chillis.
  5. Mix all the ingredients well.
  6. Cook the mixture on a low heat until it thickens.
  7. Then add vinegar and boil for 4-5 minutes.
  8. Let the mixture cool.
  9. Store in bottles for 3-4 weeks before consuming it.
