How To Make Hawaiian Haystack
- Take a skillet and heat olive oil in it over medium heat. Add chicken to it and let it cook in the oil while you keep stirring it. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes or until when the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
- Add chicken broth to the skillet and simmer it for a few minutes until it is reduced slightly. It would take about 5 minutes.
- Now add chopped basil and parsley, cream of mushroom soup into the chicken and whisk everything together until smooth. Then cook it for 5 minutes until it is warm enough and then pour this chicken sauce in a small bowl.
- On the serving platter spread cooked rice evenly and then top it with this chicken sauce.
- Layer it with pineapple, tomatoes, green onions, shredded coconut, green bell pepper, cheese, and chow mien noodles on top.
